Exchange and Returns Policy
Keeping in mind the very basic nature of every Indianhanger.com outfit, our customers do appreciate that each outfit ordered online is individually created, crafted and made to fit perfectly in accordance to the measurements provided.
We take utmost care to pack your order carefully, however on rare occasions; products can be damaged on transit. In case of an incomplete order or damaged/defective orders, please contact us and we shall do everything possible to set things right.
In most cases, we will repair or exchange the product for you free of charge.
You can return the product to us and it will be refitted and sent back to you. Refitting costs will be free however shipping charges and return duties will have to be borne by the buyer.
Shipping costs for returns including any duties applicable will be borne by the Buyer.
The following terms and conditions are applicable to all returns:
- Returns are not valid on products bought on sale, or bought using promotion codes, discount coupons or vouchers, unless the order is incorrect.
- Returns are not valid on customized orders.
- For any returns, the customer should communicate with the indianhanger.com team within 4 days of receiving the order. The communication can be done via email or telephone. Email us- email@example.com or Call us- +91-9892661242
- If you have made a purchase through a debit or a credit card, the refund amount will be credit to the original purchaser’s debit/credit card.
- For Cash-on-Delivery orders, your amount will be refunded by cheque.
- We make all efforts to ensure that products sent to you are the same as viewed on www.indianhanger.com; however colors may vary slightly depending upon your computer monitors. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that the colours of the products will be completely accurate.
Unfortunately we do not accept returns on jewellery or handbags at all. In case your piece is broken, at arrival, you can contact us and we will help you repair the piece.
On the rare occassions of damage one way shipping & any custom charges will be borne by you.
On receiving your order, Indianhanger.com will confirm the same with an e-mail. Each order will have a unique order number in the email. You can use this order number for all inquiries pertaining to your order.
On the day we dispatch your order, we will confirm the same with yet another e-mail mentioning the order tracking number. The e-mail will also have an attached URL address which will take you directly to a web page where you can feed in your tracking number and subsequently check the delivery status of your order online.
While most orders are processed and dispatched within 12-15 days of receipt of payment, please provide up to 4-6 weeks for processing your order. Since most items are handcrafted with extreme care using traditional techniques, they may occasionally be in short supply. We will keep you informed of any changes in the shipping schedule.
We understand that you as our customer may have different requirements such as:
- You may wish to order an outfit which is not showcased at Indianhanger.com, or
- You have a specific occasion coming up, such as a wedding, and you would like our team of designers to design something specifically to your taste, or
- You may wish to modify the design (embroidery, pattern, fabric) of a showcased outfit at Indianhanger.com, for eg: You may wish to add sleeves to a sleeveless blouse.
All the above (and more!) can be achieved very easily by placing a Custom Order.
Please follow the steps below to make your very own personalized purchase:
- Send us an email describing your requirements in detail. Our ability to serve you better will be greatly enhanced by the specific information you are able to provide. Therefore, please do take the time to be as specific as possible.
- Based on your requirement, the Indianhanger.com design team will select or design the appropriate outfits/accessories/jewelry that is in tune with your expectation.
- You will receive an email with a detailed description of the item(s) requested along with price.
We will then arrange for a payment to be made for the amount of the order and a confirmation e-mail of the order will be sent to you.
We ensure that the order is packed and sent to you in the safest possible way to prevent damage of the purchase.
Yes, we do provide gift wrapping on personal request. Drop us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org for your order to be gift wrapped.
If the box is damaged when you receive the parcel, you can refuse acceptance of the parcel and/or email us with the complaint. We will try our best to set things right and replace or refund the damaged pieces.
Customers in India can make purchases through their Credit card, Debit card . Customers who choose to pay through Credit Card or Debit Card can pay thorough CCAvenue. We accept payments from gateways such as PayPal and 2Checkout from our customers globally.Customers using our PayPal payment gateway can either pay through their PayPal accounts or with their debit or credit cards. PayPal currently restricts payments over US $3000 in a single transaction as well as orders where the shipping address is located in India.
Customers can also use CCAvenue for payments made by Credit Card only.

If you choose to pay through your American Express Credit card, follow the standard procedure for the checkout. In the Bank Name field please enter the American express as the bank name and proceed with the other details.
In case of a successful payment, you will be notified by email. Failure of payment could be because of the following reasons:

- The credentials entered by you do not match those with the one with your bank.

We do not charge our customers for deliveries within India. Thus, shipping is free.
The shipping charges depend on the weight of the products that have been ordered and the country to which the order has to be shipped to. The shipping charges will be added to the cost of your product at the checkout page.
